I bailed on the Democratic Party when Carter was elected and the party turned liberal. It has gotten worse. It has become the catch-all for minorities, the gay community, leftist anarchist, illegal aliens, and various liberal/anti conservative groups. That is a sad commentary for the nation as a whole in that it really divides the nation. It's a loss for all Americans that there is not a quality third party that is recognized by the media. Oh, but that would mean the media would have to share their biased, liberal slant with another party which would not fit their agenda. The American people should be upset about the propaganda and mind control fodder that is put in front of you every day slanted heavily to the liberal/moral decay that pervades our society. It will ultimately be the downfall of this nation, the writing is on the wall. I hope it is not in my lifetime. Our nation is becoming more and more polarized in it's recognized standard of living as percieved by each side. What is now "normal" would, say, 20 years ago, be unacceptable. Are we headed for another civil war ? Revolution ? Conservative vs. Liberal ? I believe it's coming and the terrorist are loving every minute of it. Divided we fall.
