Hey Ya'll, I think I'm still three feet off the ground from the last four days. Let me say, rarely in one's lifetime, do you get to know so many very beautiful people who share a love for a certain kind of music given to us by a very special, one of a kind, person.... Brother Duane Allman. I could list soo many people to thank it's too much. But, Derek, Kim, JImmy, Jack, Randy, Bill, Gregg, Lefty, you are all soo loved. If there more gracious people on this earth than Derek, Jimmy, and Jack, I don't know 'em. There are so many great moments....hearing Derek do Soul Serenade, Jimmy and Jack play Change is gonna Come, Lefty and band playin' 'Post, and, Lord help me, playin' Liz Reed with Jimmy Hall. I can tell you without any doubt, Duane Allman was with us this week I know cause I felt him and heard him. I was shown the plaque that Randy had framed, of the resolutions Duane wrote Jan. '69. A copy resides on my bedroom wall which I see every morning to start the day. When I first saw this, the Skydogs were going onstage wed nite to open the show. I was almost too overcome too play. Powerful stuff. Having this event each year, meeting the people who love Duane as I do, love the music as I do, is just joy beyond words. The feeling that envelopes the room is just unbelieveable. Thanks to all of you for making this year so special...got to go. the tears are too much. Brent Skydogs
