Posted my Jam comments on the Forum, but I did want to put up some thank-you's here. First and foremost, a thank you to Brent Sibley, a dear friend I met through this site. Brent and his friends have been honoring Duane's legacy in late October for 20 years now. A BIG thank you to Bobby Welch and the staff at the Cultural Arts Center for their financial support, including a first-class sound system for 3 days. Thank you to Angela Sauls at Chestnut Station for trusting me and booking Jimmy and Jack and the Skydogs on Wed. A HUGE thank-you to Barb and Greg Potter and the GABBA folk for prominently displaying our event on their site. HUGE thanks also to Joe, Rob, and Ron and the HTN folk for the internet PR. Many came because of it. Thank you Bill Ector for coming to my home town, and for sitting in on drums. Thank you Lefty Collins and the No Mercy Band for coming to Gadsden, playing your butts off for 2 days, and for a rediculous paycheck. Thanks to my lifelong friends from the Buffalo Bar, who went to and supported every event. And thank you, my friends here, for taking the time, spending the money, to come to my hometown to help us honor the life and legacy of Duane Allman. My love to you. EAPFP
