Can anyone please find the post where I called Bush a Nazi? I've gone back and looked and looked and be damned if I can find it. What I said was that the Nazi party came to power by creating fear among the people and then promising to keep them safe. Bushes number one campiagn tactic is to talk about how we are in danger from terrorist attacks (compare the number of people killed by terrorists with the number of people killed on the highways each day and see where our real danger lies. Our fear of terrorism is way out of line with the reality) and that he can keep us safe while Kerry cannot. I'm not saying a single thing that you won't hear if you turn on your TV and listen for an hour or so. I hope SmilingJack reposts the quote he just sent to me. To reiterate: I did not call Bush a Nazi. I said look at history (and used several examples including Julius Caesar) and you will see a very clear picture of the tactic the Repubicans are using now and that it has been used time and time again. The Nazi's are just one of the groups that successfully used this tactic. Who knows? Maybe if elected (I'm reticent to use the word :re-elected) Bush will become a Socialist (sic).
