Hammond, not being familiar with Strauss, I will have to do some research. I am however, a fan of Karl Marx. His concept of a classless society where all the wants and needs of the people are met, and the wealth of the nation is distributed equally was brilliant on paper (IMO). It is a shame that true communism has never been achieved since any gov't attempting it could never get past the socialist stage. Not being a huge fan of capitalism, it would of been interesting to see how the Utopian dreams of Marx played out in real life. I think my lack of sleep the last few days is catching up with me. I'm beginning to ramble. I need to unwind so I can catch some ZZZ's.
