Jody is a sweetheart! Happy Birthday kid. Tony Happy Sunday to the rest of youz. Great Fillmore discussions, and that article was really good. One thing comes to mind, OK.. One Way Out on Peach was from a later date, was it July? So, it was a pro-recorded night. Where dem tapes? A future archive release? I read on the Dead "Vault". An amazing, humidity and climate controlled environment. I assume they don't let dreadlocks and the associated twigs, rodents and insects in... Anyway, with the ABB tape wars that it seems you need a scorecard to follow... Phil has some, the outfit that bought the Capricorn building has stuff, Epic is it has stuff... ABB has stuff they can't release... I may be wrong on all the forementioned, but you know what I mean, it is a mess. So, my question... if these tapes are being wrestled over, it is hard to believe they are getting the care the Dead stuff is. It is the dumbest war ever, nobody wins. Thinking of future box sets gets one drooling... Duane, live sets, outakes.... They should take a cue from the Band remasters.... Anywhere from a couple to an entire extra albums worth of bonus cuts on each CD. Lots of songs that are deemed wrong for the time of an album, in retrospect are better than some that made the album. There is a Simplicity cut (Please Let Me Know) that never made it that is just killer, I'd love the story on that song for example.
