Thank you guys for starting to speak up. I think one of the problems in recent years has been the conservative inclination to pound tables and yell their views (especially the extreme right wing) while the more moderate sit and try to be civil. There comes a time when you just HAVE to stand up and yell!!!! If you don't you wind up like Mr. Wimp of the Century Al Gore and just let the Governor of Florida and his staff and the Supreme Court steal the election and you just do nothing about it. As was mentioned in an earlier post: the appointment of George W Bush to the presidency is one of the single most unconstitutional acts in the history of this country (as mentioned the way that electors are selected for the electoral college is 100% under the power of each state. The federal government has no authority whatsoever in this matter. The Florida Supreme Court was still debating the issue, as was their right, when Scalia/Thomas, et al made their decision) and noone did a damn thing about it. To answer the person that told me I should let the experts make these decisions. The experts you are talking about are Scalia (whose son got a cushy government job shortly after the decision) Thomas, Rhenquist, O'Connor, etc. who made the decision. Guess who you have to go see to have this declared unconstitutional? Scary stuff.
