Wow, looks like I opened Pandora's Box. Since my post yesterday seems to have started this whole conversation, let the record show that I didn't call anyone an idiot. I was simply relating a story I thought was funny. And the thing that made it so funny was that the guy claimed he was such a big fan. Had the conversation been with a teenager or someone who just wanted information, it wouldn't have been funny at all. Heck, I would have been impressed that the person had even heard of Otis Redding. 😉
Plus, I really didn't give the full flavor of what sitting next to this guy for three hours was really like. Maybe I should share his story about selling acid disguised as pasta at Molly Hatchet concerts in Cleveland in the 70s.
On second thought, I don't think so (And yes, there's a story there too). 🙂
