Hey all... So much to say about the weekend at the Fox... great to catch up with so many old friends and make new ones; special shout out to my home boy Marley, who I finally met. I usually post to the listserv, but I've posted reviews for Friday and Saturday at the Fox. I'll get to Sunday soon. I thought Saturday was the one. I put my reviews in the reviews section, and also in the comments section for each show in case anyone is interested. I had the divine privilege of joining Lana and Oteil's prayer circle Sunday morning. Kirk showed up as well. I don't want to say too much about it-- sort of a, "What you say here stays here" kind of thing... but I do want to say what a profound impact it had on me (I'm generally not religious), and what a rightous and joyous and loving soul Oteil is. You just want to hug the guy. I'm not ashamed to say that I did, more than once. And of course, if you're giving out hugs, you know Lana gets to cut the line. Oh, and if you're giving out hugs, do NOT forget Everhardt... Part of it was the shows, part of it was the camaraderie, part was Oteil and Lana and the prayer circle. But I am positively basking in light and love. And that's what this trip is all about. Man oh man, I'm still buzzing...
