Sang, I thought about tommyc alot this weekend. He was always on the lookout for us at the Atlanta shows, he'd hunt ya, just to say Hi.....I thought about Bobo and Bird this weekend too. Bob and Tony, you were in the thoughts and prayers of many, please know that! I had a great time this weekend. It was wonderful to meet "new" old friends and even more special to be able to spend some quality time with old friends, it's been too long. All of this would have never been possible without the dedicated and loving efforts of Lana and Rowland. I thank you both from my heart! 🙂 A huge thanks to the Allman Brothers Band and crew, also. Let's do this every year! Terri and Sari...thanks for your hospitality and friendship. Brofan, you're the best, it was wonderful to see you again, my friend! Karen and Lynn, Paul and Heidi, Goliath and El....it was a pleasure to be surrounded by the light your smiles bring. Heidi, hang in there, peace will come! Crenshaw, thanks for risking your life to get my Raleigh '03 IL cover autographed. I'm going to have Gregg's checked for authenticity!! LOL! Lefty, Cujo, Lee, Big Dave and OrigaPch...you guys are a riot! Lee, you forgot your co-cola coopins! So nice to see and hang with Benjamin, Fast43, JohnF, Pam, GlennB, Buzzy.... (I'm trying to see the scene in my mind so as not to leave anyone out) ron_e and family....Sarah, you're just a little doll... Kevin and Carol, bluefox.....where were you all weekend, sis?? 😉 Marley, Bill Ector and Rob Johnson, Greg and Barb Potter and all of our "suthin" gang.... After years of trading shows and emailing up emergency favors, I finally meet David Helm, how cool is that? Nice to meet you, dbHelm! Ryan Belair, Michael Williams and your beautiful, Janna...you guys rock! I was so sorry to miss Zambi this time around. Scott, nice to see ya and that pretty little bride, Nicole! Ya did good, Home Brew! .... I just wanna savor every minute and enclose it in a water globe filled with shooting stars to peer into on the not so good days. Buppalo, Sheep and SPDB...I'm so sorry I missed you guys! Thanks to all who gave Amber a memorable weekend, she celebrated the big 2-1 a tad early, so it may mean that October 7th is just another day to her now, she celebrated in September! She had a blast! Happy birthday, baby girl! Denza, I 'preciate 'cha'! Thanks for your friendship and for one of the best shows I've ever experienced in my life. Heck, It's all good! Speaking of shows.... the music, yes, there was music! All 3 shows were well played. Sunday was so well played that for the first time in my life I find myself speechless! It was the "one" for me. I can't listen to any music, I just don't want to let go of that 3 plus hours of Heaven. There was some kind of special magic with wings soaring through the beautiful Fox Theatre Sunday night. I can't put my feelings into words well enough to describe what I experienced, it was so much higher than the mountain for me this time, it touched my soul so deeply and it hasn't let go yet. I pray that it doesn't!
