well, i have a lot more to say than this, but great musicians, great shows, great friends, great setting -- put all those together and it's a memory of a lifetime. and just about everyone was so dang HAPPY, before during and after, on the stage, in the audience, around the hotel, it was kind of life-affirming and humbling all at the same time. heck, even the Georgian Terrace staff seemed to almost fall all over themselves to make whatever we needed happen instantly, and with a smile. Sarah was a little ill when we got in late Thursday, kid from the front desk almost beat me to the door with some lemonade, and when i started to go for the tip, he smiled, said, 'skip it, my pleasure, hope your daughter's better in the morning," and walked off. it was just a little preview of our happy weekend ahead, and yeah, the kid was great the next morning. the 2 shows we enjoyed were just fabulous. the highlights were -- just about every song. honest. great sound from where we were each night, folks around us were happy, energetic & fun (and g-r-r-r-reat dancers), just a thoroughly wonderful experience. I can't wait to hear Sunday night on Instant Live. "wink wink"? oh, I get it... thanks everyone. and i mean EVERYone.
