This was just posted in the forum-thanks to kscampbell13 for thr info: "As some of you may know the Allman Bros are playing three nights at the Fox this weekend in Atlanta. On Sunday, 9/26, The Derek Trucks Band will play one set at 11:45 AM down at a stage at the Georgia Dome before the Atlanta Falcons game. My company has partnered with DaveFM and has a stage down in Lot A. Derek Trucks' management wants to promote their New Years Eve shows in Atlanta at the Variety Playhouse on DaveFM. So in return for DaveFm promoting the shows, they asked that DTB do a one hour set on Sunday before the game. Lot A is the season ticketholder parking lot, so only cars with special passes can park in the lot - but anyone can walk in. I also understand that if you own a Ford vehicle you can go to the Falcons website and enter your VIN number and get a free parking pass for lot A. I have not done this yet, but do know it is a feature from the website. That would be your best bet to be able to park near the stage. If you don't do that, best way to get to the area on a Falcons gameday is by MARTA. You will need to change trains if you are coming from the North / South line at Five Points and go to the the GA Dome / Philips Arena stop. When exiting the train take the exit that goes towards Philips Arena. Do not go up the final set of escalators to the Philips Arena level once you exit the turnstiles in MARTA. You will exit from behind that last set of escalators and follow the service drive to Lot A. If you are driving without a pass - park where you can and walk in on Park Ave West which is the road at the corner of Marrietta Street and the Embassy Suites. There will be signs for Lot A from Marrietta. There is a stage right outside the Dome which is the wrong stage. We are in a parking lot one level down from Dome level. The stage gets started around 9:45 AM so bring your bloody mary mix and other assorted beverages to bite the dog back and get your day started with some free music. Sundogs from Atlanta will play the first set and there will be plenty of good music coming from the stage while the bands are on break. Should be a good Sunday morning if the weather is anything like it has been this past week. Out."
