Patty dear, you said it all right there. The purpose of donating your organs is to have the honor of saving a life or lives. There is no greater honor. If we are to let those who abuse the system dictate further to us, we are in worse shape than ever. Just because there are murderers lurking our streets are we to stay locked up in our homes in a bullet proof closet. Hell no! Come on folks, use your good sense. Really think about it.Patty, I am so sorry about the loss of your sister. She sounds like she was a Saint. And if I read your post correctly, she donated her organs too. Wonder how many people's lives she saved? Your Mom is also a Saint. What a wonderful family you come from! Hope you are doing alright. I have been thinking of you. Thanks for your post :-DPeople, please, I know you are all fine and sensitive people. I've met some of you and felt you were the kindest, spiritual people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Do not let the bad of the world take the lives of the good. Please just think about that. I wish that nobody you know or love will ever need an organ transplant. But if they do, I pray that there is an organ available to them. There is only one way for that to happen. The word needs to be spread. We have the medical knowledge to do this. It is truely amazing that it can be done successfully. If only they could develop a way to grow organs on trees! Until then, it is up to us....the good folks...to do the right thing.Love to all...
