Guest Book

My first "show" after 9/11 was the Jam for Duane that year. We were joined by TerriB, SistaBluz, Rob Johnson, Stormy, Tommy Booth, SkydogJ, Speedo. Much talk of how we felt as we waited for those from the NYC area to check in here. We were all just getting to know each other then and didn't have a clear picture of where everybody lived and worked. The amazing aspect was how emotional we were about people we'd never met. That was old guestbook days, and even with the Dickey turmoil at its highest the bonds and family aspect were strong. I also remember stories of several here standing in line for hours to give blood. Johnny FC comes to mind, there were others. Just announced that the Navy is evacuating Key West. We had 2 C-130's land here this morning with patients evacuated from Key West and Marathon, we're about 800 miles from Miami. Must be bad. Also, our home office in St. Petersburg sent emails this morning with contingency plans for being down for a week. Terrible stuff for Florida. Congrats to Billy and Aikens on Troy's fine victory last night.
