I hope everyones having a great weekend! Nice to see the site back up! Here is last nights setlist and mini-review by B.P. from the ABB Listserv...looks like a REAL GOOD ONE with a BIG crowd as well! Cool setlist Huh?... _______________________________________________ Pasted from the Listserv.... A dazzling show last night at Star Lake ... er ... Post-Gazette Pavilion. Great crowd. I'd estimate18,000, maybe 20,000. Great interplay among the entire band. Last night's twist: A six-minute drum break during One Way Out . . . that fit!!! Mostly older material; not much from Hittin' the Note. Got our Mountain Jam!! Oh yeah, Layla was the encore. Here's the setlist: Midnight Rider Done Somebody Wrong Don't Keep Me Wonderin' Who's Been Talkin' (an ABBsolutely classic) Stormy Monday Dreams (Warren) Rockin' Horse> Gambler's Roll (an electric) Come On in My Kitchen Good Clean Fun Dreams to Remember One Way Out> Drums>OWO (Gregg just made it back in time after a change of shirts to sing the last verse) Statesboro Blues (Warren on slide) Mountain Jam (about 30 minutes worth) Encore: Layla (Derek truly feels the spirit of Skydog) The Brothers came on at 8:20 and finished at 10:37 by my watch. If you're buying an Instant Live of this show, you need to know that after the intro to Gambler's Roll on disc one, the tune fades out and picks up again on disc 2. A lousy place to cut, but overall, a sweet recording. BTW,Oteil is all over this show--a monster . . . and no scat!
