Man David, I was at Van’s show that night. Cramed shoulder-to-shoulder, toe-to-toe with everyone else at the foot of the stage. We could have been standing next to each other. His album Wavelength was out then I think. You are right, the best show there, would love to get a copy of that one! And ARS, what a band, I still have all 3 of those albums, Third Annual Pipe Dream was great. Came out my senior year in high school, love Angel, Doraville, and Blues in Maude’s Flat (something like that). What a history with that band, Joe South, The Candymen, Classics IV. You gotta love the song Stormy. Their drummer, Robert Nix, produced an album I was designing, Alias, back in the early 80s. Man, what a character! Saw a lot of things I can’t repead here that went on in the studio!
