TanDan, Obviously I have the same magazine. I wonder if Gregg would say the same thing today. Those types of questions seem to prompt different answers at different times. That issue of Oxford American included a great article about Harry Smith, the Anthology of American Folk Music, and David Johansen. Any fan of the "O Brother, Where Art Thou" soundtrack should check out the Anthology and especially "David Johansen and the Harry Smiths." Nothing like the New York Dolls or Buster Poindexter.
