Huey, when was that gig? If it was during the Enlighten R's days Huey just might have had a better night than the band did. Those were some bad days and nobody in the band knew what time of day it was. I just can't recall him playing with the early band, but I am getting older.
And some of you people think my opinions of the ABB. are rough. Like all of you I know what I like, I still say there was no greater Band than the original ABB. they not only played better, but they had the feel. Even if it was a bad night on hitting the licks, or the timing was off a little, they still kicked you with the feel. On nights, that someone in the band would say, I made mistakes all over the place. Duane would say, me to, but it felt good. We were out there and had to work our way back. Mistakes, yes, but it sure as hell felt good. The ABB. has never had a bad version of players. During the Enlighten days they were brain dead, but other than that the bands have been super, But after listening to the Feb 72 Show, I have to stick by my guns. That band and before brother Duane went to the next planet, was the greatest band to ever play on this planet.. My iopinion.
