I caught the CSNY show here in Atlanta last night. I picked up an $88+ ticket for an even $40 outside. I sat 4 rows behind the meg-priced front floor section about 25 rows from the stage. Great show. Incredbile setlist. They opened with a crunchy version of Carry On and they were off to the races. Played close to 3 hours plus intermission. They've really got some amazing anthems in concert. Hearing Neil sing on CSN tunes and then hearing all of them sing on his solo material was great. We got all kinds of combos of the four as well. Booker T Jones on organ and Donald Duck Dunn on bass & someone I didn't recognize on drums. Great sound - all the voices sounded great except Still's voice seemed worn out by the end. About 2/3 full crowd at best. I dont' think some folks realized that some seats were only $42 (plus ticketmaster fees). I've seen CSN and I've seen Neil in concert, but that was my first time for CSNY and it would have been well worth $88. Fun night. Little Feat last friday and CSNY last night. I feel like I'm back in high school. With number 2 on the way, my concert going days are about to be severely limited so I'm glad I pulled off the double....
