hey all this is my late review from the gorge. It was a fantastic night of music. The allmans set was over two hours and rocked the whole way through. I honestly thought that the mt jam would be the last song but they decided that was not enough and launched into a huge whipper. Derek seemed a bit low in the mix but warren's guitar was booming. I felt he definatley stole the show. It was great to hear him so enthused and loud. The dead set was over three hours and kicked off with a wicked shakedown. Other highlights include jackstraw casey jones playin other one cryptical terrapin (the wheel playin reprise lovelight with DT) and an after midinight encore with warren giving the crowd a little pat on the but for the ride home. Everything was great, the camping lot was rocking till the wee hours of the morning as usual. The gorge truly is an inspiring place and it came shining through in the music. Warren's endurance is really starting to become legendary and everybody seemed very excited about his playing and singing. All and all a huge night of music with some of the greats. I'll post some more after Idaho tommorrow. The boys are on fire though. take care ty
