Good morning everyone. I went to see Clapton last night for the first time ever. Let me put all arguments to rest, he is unbelievable. Why doesn't he ever play with the ABB, you might ask? Because people's heads would pop off, that's why. The jam he did in the middle of I Shot The Sheriff was really something to behold. He killed every song he played, totally smokin'. So glad I went.
Robert Randolph opened the show and there was barely anyone in there when he started, but by the end the place was pretty much full and he had MSG on their feet. So many people had no idea who he was. Several people came up to me and were like, "What was the name of that guy who was just playing?" Seems like he converted a bunch of people.
