INSTANT LIVE UPDATE 6/25/04 and some other news, too! First of all, we at Kid Glove Enterprises want to say Thank You for your patience as we prepare to roll out the newly reprinted ABB Instant Live CDs from 2003. We finally have received word from the band that we will begin shipping them to you during the week of July 12. Due to the fact that the original Charlotte show had Mountain Jam split between 2 CDs, the band has chosen to have this problem corrected, so that it now appears in its entirety on one disc! This change, unfortunately, made the ship date move back about two weeks, but we can begin sending them out to you real soon. Again, we thank you for your patience. For those of you who ordered the Raleigh show only, or the Raleigh show with another non-Instant Live CD or other product, we will begin shipping these out immediately. We cannot split ship the Instant Live CDs, however, due to the increased shipping costs and human resources involved. While we do not like to have to share bad news with you, we feel we owe it to you, our loyal and very patient customers, to share exactly what the status of these CDs is so that you will know when to expect them in the mail. Again, we thank you for your patience. NOW, as a reward for your patience, Kid Glove is very happy and proud to announce the 3rd archival release from the Allman Brothers Band. Recorded in their hometown of Macon, GA on February 11, 1972, this 2-CD set shows the majesty and the power and the resilience of the five-man band as they carried on the dream following the loss of Duane Allman. This period was very pivotal in the existence of the ABB, and as is clearly evident by this recording, they had the strength and courage to continue to make incredible music. This CD features five songs not previously released on the archival series, in particular Aint Wastin Time No More, Les Brers in A minor, and a raucous version of Hoochie Coochie Man from Brother B.O. Go to our website at www.hittinthenote.com and look in the New Merchandise section for a more detailed description of this CD. We are offering a special subscription rate to Hittin the Note magazine if you order this new archival release - $5.00 off a 1-year subscription! Get all the latest news about your favorite bands and artists, the ABB, Govt Mule, Derek Trucks Band, and many others, as Hittin the Note brings you in-depth coverage of these and many others, as well as a copious quantity of CD reviews and special features and show reviews.
