Been away for a few days and returned to read some very interesting stuff on one of my personal favs. Jackie Pearson,as Gregg likes to refer to him.Somebody said they would like to hear Warren and Jack together-I have a show on cassettes from a show in 1993 where Jack sits in for Dickey that is one of my all time favs. If I remember correctly it was in Ashville NC.The Liz Reed is out of this world, and as you can imagine Dreams is a close second....I'm not at home so I can't think of the date right now bit I think it was Sept.93 and I will offer up copies on cassettes only,no computer burner. There have been a few mentions of having Jack record with ABB for the next commercial release and I for one would love to have them add I'm Not Cryin to that disc.Probably the best Jack song of the bunch, imho. As the Stanley Cup marathon starts I noticed AllBlues mention of the old TPT team from Peterborough Ontario with Scottie Bowman at the helm.Man that brought back memories for me,going back to the Original 6 of the NHL,when there were only 120 players in the whole league and the next step from Junior A OHL hockey was almost cetrainly to the Show.Original 6 has two meanings for me...No advertising on the boards, no corporate soponsors naming rights on arenas,just good old fashioned hockey.Oh well,as long as the Wings win I'll be happy.
