There is a fella out there who is writing a research paper about the Atlanta Pop Festival in Byron in 1970. Hophead and I are going to meet with him tomorrow night, he is meeting with Alex Cooley tonight, and he has spent the past week or so in middle Georgia doing some interviews for his paper. His name is Ed Chatterton, and his email address is ejchattert@comcast.net. Specifically, he is hoping to find some of the ladies who attended Byron to interview. He has spoken to several males, but only a few females thus far. He is NOT a pervert! If you were there, or know someone who was, he would appreciate the contact to talk about it.
Hope all of you are well, and that you are making plans to visit us here in Hot'lanta in September. I echo what someone said about joining GABBA - not only is it a great organization, but its officers (especially the Potters) do an amazing job of preserving the legend that is the ABB in this state. You can contact them at GABBA.org. On top of all that, you won't meet many people in your life nicer than Greg Potter, and that is the gospel truth.
Take care, and see you all down the road soon...
Peace always,
Willie Howard (from Mayberryetta, a suburb of Hot'lanta)
