Charlesinator, I can't speak for my brother Goliath, but I would have to speak a word or two re: Slowhand and Skydog. Someone once asked Jaco Pastorius what was his favorite song he had written, to which he replied "I've got four kids and none of them is my favorite." Of the blues rock guitar heroes Duane and Eric stand arm and arm at the top, no one else is even on the mountainside. So will I pick a favorite-nah! I had the great pleasure of seeing Eric on theSlowhand tour in '78 at the Macon Coliseum. As he played through most of his pop garbage of the 70's I was almost bored. Then he broke into "Let it Rain". At the time I was sitting with my arm around my dates shoulder, and, poor girl, I about knocked her head off moving my arm back to clap, whistle and raise a general pandemonium. And Carl Radle was there to play that most ass-kicking bass line in history! Did I mention "Let It Rain" is one of my favorite songs in the world?!!! Back to the subject at hand-I love 'em both! Byard
