First meeting of Joe Bell: Although we had waved before the elevator doors closed at the Beacon, first meeting was at GABBA last year. Walked up to the HTN table, met WillieHoward, Joe's behind the table, says, "You're Buppalo?"
calls Vickie to run the table, grabs me, Willie Howard, another guy who turns out to be Bill Thames, grabs a couple beers from somebody, sticks us in the back of his van, starts playing the Escorts kitchen tape remasters. Duane and Gregg, mid teens. All this in less than 1 minute. Like WillieHoward said, instant connection. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed. Get well soon, Bro. Joe.
