Hey Charles, It's funny how two people can attend the same concert and come away with completely different impressions. Have you heard a recording of the show? I know in the past I have left a show thinking it was just allright and then heard a tape and realized that it was alot better than I thought. I know the mood I am in greatly affects my impressions of concerts. I have the show if you are interested (unfortunately it is on tape, if anyone has the 7/3/99 show on cd I would love to trade or BnP for it), I still listen to it all the time. There are real nice versions of Ain't Wastin Time, One Way Out, Where it all Begins (Derek and Oteil burn it up during Derek's solo), Blue Sky, and Liz Reed.
