Charlesinator, I've got to respectfully disagree with you...I don't see anyone trying to "kick a brother while he's trying to get his sh*t back." On the contrary, it seems like the Dickey reviews I've read here have been overwhelmingly positive. A couple of folks have said that the drummer doesn't make it for 'em, and that should be okay. Just expressing honest opinions about the music.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing Dickey and Great Southern here in Kentucky this weekend, and then to seeing the Allmans in Indianapolis and Cleveland, "cracks" and all (including Warren and his crappy, inferior tone), later this summer. Where is the problem, exactly? Show me where someone has been anything but supportive of Dickey and his new lineup. Saying the drummer isn't a good fit doesn't qualify as kickin' a brother, at least from where I'm sitting.
