Completely bummed to hear about the passing of Ray Charles. I remember hearing his music as a young child in the late '50's (thanks to an older cousin of mine) and realizing then he was the real deal. He pretty much invented 'soul" in music and almost all the singers I like from Gregg Allman, Van Morrison on down owe that man a big debt of graditude. Rest in Peace Brother Ray and Thank You for all the music you gave us.
