Just got back from seeing Dickey at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta...some magical moments occurred during the two sets...especially while the newer material was played. Some hiccups as well...but they were just momentary and Dickey seemed very relaxed and at home with the appreciative Atlanta crowd. Lot's of guest book folks there - always nice to see some of the family of fans! Some of the songs played (forgive me but can't remember all): Statesboro Blues, followed by Blue Sky to kick it off, Very good New Tune, Jessica, Nobody Knows, Seven Turns, New Tune, Donna Marie, Liz Reed, Come on into my Kitchen, played for 2.5 hrs so I've left out many songs - sorry too tired to remember - Encore - Ramblin Man Also, just wanted to mention to Lee and Leah - that we have Chuck Leavell's "What's in that Bag" both signed and unsigned at Kid Glove/Hittin' the Note - where you usually can find those hard-to-find CDs of our extended musical family!
