Anyone who has had the chance the see the Jukes horns knows how much intensity, energy and joy they can add to any show they are a part of. LaBamba (Richie Rosenberg, trombone) alone has enough energy to light half of NYC by himself. You haven't lived until you've seen him leading the horns choreography, dancin, swingin, blowin...he is one of the most fun performers to watch you'll ever see. He LOVES his job and it really comes across. Eddie Manion on baritone adds a huge bottom too-can't remember if Mark Pender and Stan Harrison are still with 'em but they are all great musicians who treat every gig like it was just nothin' but a house party-hence Sam Cooke's "Havin' A Party" which is their signature tune. I've seen them with Southside a couple of times in Chicago and once with the E Street Band and they were incredible every time. Just a great group of entertainers.
