Oh, the "problem of evil?" I've always thought that one's easy. I mean, we're essentially insects (heck, barely one-celled microorganisms) compared to a deity, so how can we even define evil beyond "that which (morally, aesthetically, reflexively) repels us?" Moral and natural -- and physical & metaphysical "evils"): a way of organizing and making some sort of sense of the (cognitive blur of the) experience of the world around us. (My ol' prof who was trying to construct a 'moral phenomenology' was headed this way, I think) May be some sort of Kantean 'rose colored glasses' categorical experience of the world, but nevertheless, just a human constuct. Or maybe I'm suffering from oxygen deprivation from that bike ride. College sure was a long time ago. I surely do miss getting positive strokes in direct proportion to the degree of obfuscation (and passive verbiage ) in my writing. heh heh heh..ARISE you insects -- understand the futility of your lives and be kind to those around you! On a more relevant topic, I'll send a couple of you GB regular types discs of Leon Russell 5-2-71 and 11-21-70. Drop me an email and I'll tell you if you're in. Just pass 'em back along and drop Skip a thank you note when you get em. Email me, not PM, OK?
