Nice to see a little discussion going on The Deads "Wall Of Sound" sound system from the early 1970's. I'm still amazed whenever I pop in the old "Grateful Dead" movie how much went into putting that thing together. Phil Lesh actually talked about how each bass string would be coming out of a different part of the PA so it would feel like his signal was bouncing around the venue. The Dead were always ahead of their time and were constantly looking for ways to improve their live show experience. Not bad for a bunch of hippies...Damn I miss those days.
