I've never had a "bad time" at a dtb show, however, I had some kinda problem with the venue/crowd in Greenville, SC a few weeks ago -- and it *seemed to affect the band, though I'm not gonna speak for them ... (a lighting issue comes to mind) in other news, the Mountain Jam on the Charlotte Instant Live ... well, they kindle this fire for a few minutes (Derek and Warren x'change is beautiful), at 6 mins. it's cookin', next thing ya know it's molten somethin' or other (I see worlds forming when I listen to it). Wow. And, I can't help but mention again -- the sound quality/stereo seperation, all that good stuff (hearing the magnificent Oteil and Gregg, and the drum seperation like the old records --Butch DRIVin away in the upper right, and over Derek's shoulder -- he's WAILIN' at about 7:00 min. now -- these INSANE interjections by Jaimoe (fills? sudden splashes of jazz beauty?) At 9 mins, things are really startin' to melt. At 10:00 this thing is ready pour. :flame: It's really worth a study. Dust off the headphones, folks (the bigger the better IMO - I'm wearing something out of Fat Albert, here, possibly designed by Eames) :flower2: :flower2: :clapping: :flower2: The Allman Brothers Band :flower2: :clapping::flower2: :flower2:
