Got my Dickey Instant Live CD from Newbury Comics yesterday-amazing, placed the order on Thursday at 12:00 PM CST and they shipped it the same day-all for $2 in shipping charges.
I also got the new Garcia box that was just released-I had pre-ordered it because you got an extra disc (the seventh) of studio outtakes including a 17 minute version of Visions of Johanna which is incredible. Well, lo and behold-when I open up the box those stoned Deadheads had thrown in an EIGHTH disc-3 tracks by the JGB at Theater 1839 from 1977. Talk about giving the customer something extra. Totally unexpected.
And I would like to send out a shout out to Randall Richert for the incredible 5 disc set that he sent to me (and many others). It obviously is a labor of love and he has many friends in high places for so many to contribute to this project. Thanks to all of them as well.
And he won't even let me send him a couple of D&D Fillmore East discs-he insists on doing a B&P and sending me blanks.
