Warren fans!?!?! Wow that is as far from the truth for this ABB fan as you could get. I've had numerous conversations that I liked other guitarists more than Warren to recreate the "ABB sound" on many occasions. In fact I've mentioned many times that Warren is "rougher" than I like sometimes. But to say this band isn't driving is flat out nuts. I think I've seen the best driving in the perrcussion section this year I've seen since the early 70's. (Rocking Horse,Hoochie Coochie Man) they are cooking. This band is fabulous, new and energized. I for one am solidly in the camp that these people, who flat out don't like each other, should play where they are happy. In different bands. When I was a kid in the 60's there were 20 or so freinds of mine that were "the boyz" we were as tight of a group of people that could exist. We all moved to Calif. together in 1973 and swore we'd always stick together as "bros". Similar to RD's book, we pooled what littel money, food, drugs etc. we had to to survive and existed in a in a mini-socialistic world. that creates an incredible tight brotherhood, to coin a phrase. 31 years later there are only 4 of us that still communicate regularly and have relationships, we changed, moved on, had different priorities, etc. The ABB has done the same, and living in the past doesn't work. I still live and honor the values and relationships but have moved on from them. RD needs to do the same.
Bupplalo - Sorry to hear about your loss, those are the tough one where you think yo could have done more, in reality there is only so much you can do. Live on, bro.
