hello beautiful Peacheads...Happy Birthday El!... thanks to everyone for all the wonderful reviews of the Beacon run....still kicking myself for turning down Jody-girls incredible saturday night tix offer....but as the fates would allow..saturday night was meant for Jody....love you Jody..I cant tell ya'll how it gladdened my heart to hear of you, Greg Potter and Lee Roy walking into eachother on my sidewalks of NY... 3 of my favorite people in this mean old world...I am so looking foward to april 25 and Lee Roy's show at the SRJ/Live Oak FLA....sunday shows are always so pretty....way down on the Suwanne River/Music Park..the amphitheatre there is more like a cathedral in a forested glade...and the river..like the Brothers....is legendary. Johnny Neel...more power to him! are ya'll kidding me? I saw a great post by a young lady named Heather requesting a Blue Floyd show for her Daddy's Easter basket....brought tears of joy to my eyes..... Among my favorite memories are great concert nights....Debbie, you remember that Blue Floyd concert? ...what a big time we had.....So sad reading about your friend's Mom..Please send him our prayers and love....Johnny was ferocious that night..tore up the keys like nobodys business...Berry Oakley...right in the middle of all the pink stuff, Berry stepped up and played the meanest Mountain Jam....a solo, mind you, just Berry on bass....Blew the room away...and AW...in all the shows Id seen AW with the Brothers & the Mule..this was the highlight..He played the most beautiful mandolin, all night long....this incredible groove...We were at this little club, at the edge of the Glades...at least, what used to be the Everglades....His last show. If there is a tape of that show out there..that would be the one to put in that Easter basket....I would love a copy of that my damned self...Peaches ya'll..be good..Ca
