Last night was stellar, simply amazing. I haven't posted in years, but I gotta share this story: After the show I was walking out of the subway on my way into Penn station. I'm singing to myself "Why does love have to be so sad" (I just got out of the show and I was still psyched), the guy next to me heard singing and said, "you must have just been at the ABB concert, my buddy Rob played keyboards during that song." I said, "You mean Rob Barraco?" He said, "yes, he's a buddy of mine, he's right here." And there he was, right in the bottom of Penn station on his way home. I shook his hand and told him what a big fan I was and how great I thought he has been through the years. I mentioned that I remembered him when he played with the Zen Tricksters at the Crossroads on the upper east side, eons ago. The guy could not have been any cooler, super solid dude. As the Post would say: Only in New York Kids, Only in New York
