Cool reading all the reviews and re-caps of last weekend. You folks going this week have the time of your life! I admire (and miss) the fact that this band doesn't play it's most signature tunes most nights. Takes guts in many ways, but it definitely means that these shows are clearly for the hard core fans. For me, a vet of 23 Allman Brothers shows (countless other gregg, warren, derek performances), it is really cool to hear my first ABB takes on about 8 tunes in just two nights. But admittedly, the setlists aren't for everyone. My highlights were 2nd half of Mountain Jam opening night Susan T on Don't Think Twice last 4 minutes of High Cost Ain't Waistin Time (Derek just kills me on that one) Statesboro Blues (I always love the sing-a-long) I'll post my full review & reflection when the run-is-done......
