The usher tapes were awesome. God, it blows ones mind to remember the line- ups back then when 2 or three TOP notch groups would play. Nothing against Karl Denison or Chris Robinson, but putting Savoy Brown, Humple Pie and J Geils on the stage in one night (one of my personal favorites) just kicks tusch. Stevie Wonder opening for the Stones. Yes and ELP same night in a 4000 seat venue. that stuff was great. I'll admit it was chemically enhanced as well, but damn it was good stuff. Stormy - Well said, I think. Maybe we should create an "alternate language" guest book to expedite the reading of the GB by those of us that are multi-lingusitc challenged types.
