I was sitting in Palo Soleri amphitheatre in Sante Fe in 97, up front of Dickey, Oteil to the right and Jack to my left. Everyone was grumbling about Warren and Woody being gone. My buddy Dave Duncan had been talking about Jack Pearson for years so I was pretty confident that we would not be disappointed. The Boys came out and smoked, I was totally blown away how good my favorite band was. Oteill was a monster on the bass and Jack just pretty much shutup all the doubts about if The ABB were what they should be. Jack breaks out Dimples and we were humbled Palo Soleri is a tiny outdoor amphitheatre in Sante Fe, Holds less than 3000 would be my guess. Great venue if ya get a chance to see a show there, not a bad seat in the house. How many bands can say that they had the quality guitar players and Bass players that the ABB has had in their 30 + years. Who? Nobody
