Well, I'll borrow Jackzilla's line and say that the following opinion comes from a guy that can't sing, dance or carry a tune. And that opinion is that Derek Trucks and Jack Pearson take a back seat NOBODY, past or present.
Not talkin' about influence, songwriting, band leadership or anything else except playing. Never heard anybody do it like those two.
