Sure wish Derek & Mike Mattison could squeeze in an acoustic duo performance in NYC during the run. The Yonrico Scott Band is doing shows elsewhere and Mike lives in NYC. Derek & Mike sound like 75 year old lifetime bluesmen when they sit down together.....maybe they could be in-suite entertainment for the Leftcoast pre-show party!??
I'd be all for Mike dueting a tune or two with Gregg.....maybe Dreams or You Don't Love Me. Or maybe he could duet with Warren on an old Otis Redding tune.
So many possibilities in just over 3 weeks. I'm really hoping for an acoustic set during the opening ABB weekend.....doesn't have to be many tunes. I just can't get enough of Warren & Gregg with acoustics in their hands.
