85% Dixie, here.... and for the record, almost every person that I've met (non-southern) through this website has told me they love the way I talk. I get a kick outta that! I don't say "Coke" for a soda....I say Co-cola :)....as Zambi pointed out in a previous post; In the past if you ordered a Coke at most southern restaurants, the waitress would ask you "what kind?". Now, if you ordered a Co-cola, you'd get a Coke. Still that way in some places through the South, especially Georgia. This southern gal learned real quick that sweet tea ain't served in NYC. I thought everybody sweetened their tea when it was brewed...by the gallon, of course! I LOVE NYC! I always get a big smile when I order Co-cola in NYC! 😀 Next time you all visit "Ahlanna" just say, "Co-Cola please!" :guitarist:
