I'd like to encourage anyone who loves the vintage Allmans (we all do, right?) to sometime visit the Dickey Betts website. A) Support Dickey B) Help bridge a gap that is as wide as the Mississippi. I think maybe some there think people here may look negative that way and they need to be proven wrong....... I know the words of 2000 still leave many with a bad taste and there is some hand shaking and mending fences that needs done. Maybe the band can't but the people can a bit. Like Dickey, they are a take no BS, tough bunch but there is a lot of love there.......... hell, I went over with the attitude like fire away, I'm an ABB GB'er, so I put a flak jacket on, but didn't need it. Anyhow, it would warm Dickeys heart to see some old friends say hey and screw that wall that somebody put up somewhere back when.
