Neil, You just bumped my carfefully thought out review to the next page. Probably Just as well. I agree with just about all that has been said regarding Skynyrd. Wasn't trying to caompare them as much as point out that of all the bands we discuss they were probably influenced by the the ABB more than anyone I can think of. It is funny though as a teenager and a not so talented musician we tried to play the ABB but we just could not do them justice. Skynyrd songs we could kick ass on. Not that they were that much easier to play but easier to capture & copy their sound. It takes the ABB to play ABB. And without all those folks Neil Mentioned there may have been an ABB but who knows what it would have sounded like. And Like wise without ABB Skynyrd either wouldn't have made it or would have been completely different.
