I am not a big LS fan although I did enjoy their music in the early days. And I agree with Buppalo, none of them would be as successful if it were not for duane. He was a gift from God who changed music forever....... My boyfriend is not a ABB fan but last night we were talking and he was saying how he loved the intro to Layla....I laughed and said to him.that's Duane Allman...he said NO way!! i said WAY baby. So people who are not avid followers of the band like we are enjoy Duane's music even if they are not aware of it. Maybe someday I can get him to go to a show with me...........we were talking about going to Memphis this summer and I said to him.....no plans yet..have to wait for the summer tour dates come out....he just laughed and said I figured that !!! What a guy!!! We have been talking about taking a trip to Hawaii...both of us have never been there and I have always wanted to go...he said to me does the ABB play Hawaii???? I laughed and said..I don't think so honey.but you never know LOL
