Well Short and sweet is where I am now.
No Desire to attack anyone.
Red Dog You know it all Maybe I don't know much of anything. At this point I truly do not care what went on behind closed doors.
What I do know for absolute certain is This......
The Band Sounded Really Bad early 2000. They went on without DB and got better immediately.
LISTEN TO THE ******* TAPES!
There is really nothing else to say. If anyone wants to suggest that the sound of now is not better than early 2000 then I won't be able to discuss it because I would be inclined to insult them.
See you on the morning,
Oh I did re-read my post and other than the glitches that didn't transfer well in the cut & paste I must say it is a pretty nice piece of work. Hell, a lot my posts go completely unrecognized. I figure if someone responds I did something right! I probably shouldn't have questioned your loyalty to the band but without pasting your post here I will say it sounds like you have issues with some of them..
"Sounds like" that doesn't mean I think I know something I am saying thats how you come accross.
I got no hard feelings. It's not so tough to come to terms with the fact that I don't know Sh!t. But I LOVE THIS BAND NOW and I HAVE LOVED EVERY VERSION there has ever been. NONE OF THEM SOUND THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL. None of them will be as good as the original. Look at how different each incarnation has been.
Original & 5 man version
Chuck & Lamar
Dan Toler & Rook
Warren & Allen
Derrek & Otiel
Jimmy
Warren & Derrek
Theay all sound distincly different and I love all of them What's wrong with that? If I had to rank them in order of preference there would be 2 easy choices
Best - Original Line up
Worst - (I still Love em) early 2000 with DB, Derrek & Oteil
DB makes the best spot he makes the worst spot. He is gone and that is a shame. But if he is playing as good as some people say then it is probably best for everyone involved.
So much for short & Sweet
I must whack Penguins!
