'Morning all... I have to chime in here.. I have seen Gregg literllay nod out during shows. Take at look at the Great Woods video, either he just woke up, or he was truly on the nod, if you know what I mean. I've seen Dickey screw up, and I have no idea what it was like to work with him, but I know the sound has changed. I've seen the brothers consistlently for over 25 years. So whatever the deal is behind the scenes is really non of my business. I's love to see dickey and Warren tear it up in the Allman Brothes Band. Someone said it best way back when.. they should re-name the band The New Allman Brothers, it's more fitting. At least the Grateful Dead officilly changed the name to the Dead. The tunes are the same, but the sound has changed. I like the current line up of the New ABB. But it's not the same sound without Dickey. After Duane and Berry passed they re-invented themselves, and the sound Dickey and Gregg put out was what I like in the ABB. I really like Warren and Derek, they're are amazing players. Carry the torch so to speak. I hope to see Dickey, Gregg, Butch and Jaimoe on the same stage one day.
