Manilow Hospitalized Briefly Feb 2, 5:11 PM EST Associated Press Singer Barry Manilow went home after a brief hospital stay for stress-related chest pains. Manilow, 57, was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center on Saturday because he "was in high fibrillation" after returning to his desert home from New York, spokesman Jerry J. Sharell said in a statement Monday. Manilow went home after a 24-hour stay. "After a series of tests and procedures, his heart rate returned to normal and doctors allowed the superstar to return home," Sharell said.
